Uttarakhand: Reaching out to villages which haven’t received help yet – NDTV

 

On 16 June 2013 Heavy rains wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand leaving thousands homeless and taking up the toll to 100 and leaving over thousands of people homeless and more than 58,000 people stranded at different places on the route of the Chardham Yatra – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath.

We urgently required following Items:-

Matches and Candles

Umbrellas & Raincoats

Blankets and Sleeping Bags

Tarpaulins and thick plastic sheets

Sanitary napkins
